Writers Wanted!

Lawnmowerfixed is hiring a team of writers to create articles. Currently, the site offers helpful "How to" type article's to help DIYers fix mower problems.

I want to expand the site into a few other areas. I'd like to include lots of other home owner tools also. You know, generators, weed eaters, chainsaws, snow blowers etc.

If you have mechanical experience and can write a helpful post, I'm interested.

I want to build this site into the ultimate place for DIY garden equipment care and troubleshooting.

Don't have mechanical experience to share? No problem! I'm also looking for some general garden care writers. The topics are wide ranging. If you have some garden experience and can write a good article, I'm interested.

I'm looking for those with mechanical experience and enthusiasts with great knowledge and tips to share.

If you’d like to get paid for your mechanical / garden care knowledge, and earn a little extra, then this is a great opportunity.

I pay $0.05 per word, and our articles are all either 1,000, 2,000, or 3,000 words in length. So you’ll be paid either $50, $100, or $150 (US dollars) per article, depending on the length.

Article lengths are assigned based on the topic, so you’ll know up-front how much you’ll be paid for your efforts.

Writers on garden care topics may have their bio appear on their articles and can mention a social media profile in that bio also if you choose to build up an audience over time.

However, some articles will be ghost written. For example, a mechanical "How to" post will be edited by a qualified mechanic (me) and will therefore bear my name as author.

All writers will be expected to produce three articles per month. It is critical that you do not miss a publishing date, ever.ng

Writers who miss a publishing date will be let go. For most freelance writers, three articles per month is perfect. That's plenty of time to work on it without being overwhelmed.

Writers can always pick up additional articles to write if you’d like more work.

You understand and agree that all photos, videos, written content, and all other media submitted to lawnmowerfixed.com becomes the exclusive property of lawnmowerfixed.com and you do not have the right to republish that content on your own site or any other site.

This opportunity is available for writers around the world. This is a freelance writing gig and you will be an independent contractor.

We will contact successful candidates on a rolling basis as spots are open. Watch for an email from us.
